OBX header for the HR16DE 1.6L engine

It looks like OBX already makes a 4-2-1 exhaust header for the HR16DE. I wonder if it will fit in the Micra?

    http://www.obxracingsports.com/products.php?pk=1791#

proven designs from the runners to the collector, each header promises significant improvement over the stock system while still being fit for daily driving. All headers come with a limited lifetime warranty.

    ◘ Primary Tubes: 1 3/4"
    ◘ Collector: 1 7/8"
    ◘ 3/8" Flange thickness
Honestly, 1.75" primaries seem rather large for a 1.6L 4 cylinder with 109hp. According to the reference info I have, a 1.5" diameter primary would be much better suited to this engine. It would be awesome to see before and after dyno charts on this.

Also, its OBX, a company not really known for its quality...

I knew a few people that had older OBX stuff, like mid 2000's. The quality was, well, as they say, "you get what you pay for." One person I knew had one that cracked, took it off and welded it, then put it back on. It lasted another few months. That was a turbo car, so the header had to hold the weight of the turbo. The Micra's header will have to support the weight of the exhaust system. I've read about OBX on various forums throughout the years with mixed reviews.

A stainless header from a big name company usually costs double (or more) the price of the OBX. This one costs $255. So, if it lasts a few years, it may be worth it to some people.

I've known guys to use them too, and with some success. I generally don't like them because I'm quite sure they've stolen/copied other companies designs and then undercut prices like crazy. I know at least one company that they have driven out of business this way that used to make quality products.

They also use thinner walled tube to save money. The 3/8 flange should be fine, but it doesn't matter if the tubing is too thin to support the weight of the exhaust system.

Haha, I hadn't seen that. That is a good question.

First bung is for wideband and the second is the primary o2sensor and then the secondary is after the cat.
    As far as I know.
