Good thing I keep the air flow from outside closed, air on the road isn't very clean around here.
Getting the recommended filter is now on my list though!
I was reading this post and noticed it said dealers don't have a filter. I found this Nissan part for it: 27891-EL00A.
Not sure if your local dealer would carry it, but it says it's for the car and can be ordered online.
In case someone wants the manufacturer stuff.

Thanks, will keep it in mind for next time I go to the dealer!
wait, you're telling me my micra doesnt even have a filter!? ehhhhh....
filters are important not just for human beings, but engines as well.....
The one missing is the one that filters the air that gets into the cabin.
The 2015 Micra brochure clearly indicates the presence of an in-cabin microfilter on ALL trim levels:
I'm thinking Nissan owes us that filter.
In our culture obsessed with absurd excess, the Nissan Micra is my counterculture car of choice.

yes, and the paperwork I got when getting quotes on the price state the Air Con as "Manual type w/ basic filter"
Seems mine isn't there either. gave me a hard time to put the cover back on
This was one of the issues I discussed in the trip I took today to the dealership .
They said there is no filter for these cars, they simply ''don't need it'', allegedly some other cars, and of course more expensive Nissan ''don't have it either'', such as the Versa.
Of course I don't believe all that... There's the space for the filter to be placed, and it's just logic there HAS to be one, however, nowhere in the brochure nor anywhere else is advertised the cabin filter, so I pretty much can't argue with them.
But you my Canadian Fellas can!(based on what's been published on this thread) post #17 by AlphaMicra is more than clear and enough proof.
However, based on what the accessories and parts guy told me, the part with N.27891-EL00A Ibarouf provided us, is from a Versa, which allegedly has to be modified (cut, or who knows) to fit in the housing. The guy seemed to have heard about the ''mod'' and agreed there should always be an in-cabin filter, unlike the guy at the workshop. I ordered the Versa one and will pick it up tomorrow. Price ~CAD49.58 (in Colombia)
They accessories guy also mentioned there's a local production in the early stages of the filters (not Nissan made)
