Warning for Spoiler and Skirt buyers

So having problems with the skirts and the apoiler... just posting a few pictures to help warn people who are interested in getting these parts put on... 4 hours was not long enough for the parts to properly be put on... also mind you that all of this was put on by the dealer, so its pretty much showing how well they do their jobs

    WHAT THE HELL?
    Bro, that is totally unacceptable.
The first two pics...is that the spoiler coming away from the hatch? If so...I'm betting they did not bother to make all teh holes for the hard mounting points.
The rubber trim on the skirts needs to be replaced, no question. And they will need to put new two sided foam tape on the inside of the skirt when they do this...make sure they don't skip this step.

    What a freaking mess.

This makes me sick. Looking again, in the first pics, I can see the two sided tape pulling away from the spoiler and the hatch. This reinforces my guess that they did not drill all the hard points or they didn't do it properly, because that tape is applied to the spoiler at the factory and should not pull away easily from the spoiler surface.

The car needs to be in a warm shop overnight (at least) for the tape to adhere properly. Also, surfaces need to be cleaned and wiped with alcohol before application.

This was done at a Nissan dealer? Unbelievable.

If they didn't drill for the spoiler, I'd be concerned about it falling off at this point!

Someone at the dealership needs a stern talking to.

called the dealer... they needed to order moutning hardware for the skirts ( wtf ) and apparently the spoiler is fixed... is there a way to look at the mounting hardware for the spoiler after I get it back?

You already mentioned how to stress test it: Lat pulls.

What is the video? (the link leads to a google account thing?)

On the under side of the spoiler you can pop off the two plastic covers to see if there is a screw installed. (doesn't mean it is done right, but if they're present... that's something anyway) The other mounting points that needed to be drilled are hidden once the spoiler is installed. Check my pics in the spoiler thread.

    Good luck man.
