Opposite of the one you found, Paul: good body (BC car, no rust) but high KM's and worn out interior.

1989 Micra. 260k KMs. New tires and exhaust. Went to the scrap guy for $150.

Oh and the bill of sale from the dealer the previous owner bought it from in 1997 was still in the glove box. The man paid cash, all $1200 worth plus tax ha ha.

What a shame; I hope the scrap yard that bought it sees the potential in selling off the fenders intact at least.

In our culture obsessed with absurd excess, the Nissan Micra is my counterculture car of choice.

Fenders and body side moulding look pretty rough, but if the underside is solid, it shouldn't be anything I couldn't handle.

Unfortunately, my wife won't have any of it. It's too old, it's someone else's junk, we don't have room. It'd be a shame to see this go to the scrap yard.
Came across this post and the title made me chuckle. I have a similar situation with my girlfriend. Doesn't understand why I would want a piece of 'junk' like this (I prefer to call it vintage). At the moment the girlfriend is winning... watch this space though!

My dad still complains today for not getting a vintage T Bird Convertible, not sure of the year, this goes back about 40 years. My mom was against it as he had many cars already. My ex had a Plymouth VIP. Hated that thing! Mars and Venus war goes on! Seems Venus wins. No war for me, happily single, do what I want when I want!
