Ideal pressure for what... Best ride comfort? Best traction on smooth pavement? Traction on loose surfaces? Maximum fuel economy? Choose one.

The placard on the driver's door post is what Nissan thinks is the best compromise pressure for all of the above. (I forget what the actual numbers are.)

    According to CanadianTire.ca:

I run most of my cars between 30-36psi depending on tire selection and conditions.

Trying my luck at thus old thread. Just picked up a 2015 micra s and was wondering if I could fit a set of wheels and tires from a versa,, same bolt pattern but rubber is 195/55/16. If not, what other vehicles would share the same size?

Yes but you want to CONFIRM that it's a 4x100 bolt pattern with a 60.1centre bore (CB)** and +40-50 offset (+40,+45,+50ET, etc. ) or (H) for high offset

** note: you can have a larger centre bore ( example : 67.1cb) and use a hub ring. 67.1>60.1
But you can't go smaller ( example: 57.1) cause you'll have to increase the centre bore. Which can work in a pinch. Or if the rims are free and your handy .. But for regular everyday purposes just get what you need.

Rim sizes and bolt pattern are the same, the Versa offset is ET 45 with a 59.1mm CB, the Micra shows an offset of ET 55 with a 60.1mm CB, is this still doable?
