Is it possible to upgrade my SV to the same 16" tires that are on the SR? Or are they specific to the SR?

Hi,
That's one of the first things they offered me after choosing trim/tranny. 800$ they said.
As far as I could tell they were not offered as an option at the time I bought my car, unless of course you wanted to just outright buy a set, and then you would have your steelies as an extra set for winter use.
If you are thinking of buying a second set of rims/tires there is IMO, an almost unlimited after market selection in better styles/sizes/specs. (and price range too )

Really 800 bones for a set of nice OEM rims is pretty cheap..

Sorry, my bad.
It wasn't the SR wheels they offered me, it was the black 15" ones that are on the Nissan Canada website when you build a car and get to the accessories section.
Was too good to be true wasn't it.(I kinda like these better though)
I think I'd prefer sticking to an alloy that fits the same size and profile as the stock 15's. They handle harsh roads and potholes well enough, are perfectly capable of holding a corner at well over the "Recommended" speed, while at the same time falling into a price category sweet spot.
In our culture obsessed with absurd excess, the Nissan Micra is my counterculture car of choice.
