Problem with my micra already (sputters at 2500 RPM) ... Solved.

Gets to 2500rpm in any gear and spits and spotters 3300km on it

Mine passed 8,000km without a hiccup, so I suggest you take yours back to the dealer you bought it from so they can make it right.

I just called them told them what happened and went to drop it off and i wouldnt do it but i left it there for them to look at

Did you get a check engine light when this happened?

If you did, the code will be saved for them to read/analyze.

The west coast, east coast, and prairies have been experiencing hot, humid weather recently, which, according to Wikipedia, can contribute to vapour lock. I didn't realize that Banjo came from Edmonton's sibling to the south (and sibling rivalry is a good way to describe the rivalry between our two cities ) Seen any other Micra's down in Cowtown , Banjo? Wouldn't know much about vapour lock in the central Canadian weather this summer. It's been a little chillier than usual.

That said, it's nice today, so I'm taking the rest of the day off!

Overfilling the tank with gas can cause vapour lock; I'm curious to know if you continued to fill the tank after the first click to top it off?
