Quick lube places I don't have much faith in either. just like dealerships.

+1 on that
the rubber bushing, i am sure LOOK cracked to hell, but its not a giant crack its all surface stuff.
brakes ALWAYS need to be replaced...no more than 10,ooo kms before all calipers, pads, rotors should be replaced....lol...its a safety thing!
TBH 205 for the coolant exchange seems like a pretty good deal....I'm tempted to take that deal..FYI i am on my orig 2015 battery but carry a 80 dollar jump pack
2015 Micra S (manual)
no A/C /no power options/ block heater/4x 2 Ohm speakers...all factory stock in 2015
Feb 2015 build
9,999 purchase price + tax..no additional 1600$ because it was a 2015 purchased in 2016
so receipt says $8,399....+1600 .... so they look good i guess...for a brand new car!
Well I replaced our battery this past fall. Some awesome member on here posted on the fact Nissan discontinued the Micra battery. I selected a 21R series at Costco and swapped it out. For me I like electronics to be stable and minimal strain on the alternator so after 8 years it was time for me.

Fit perfectly. Not too many battery manufacturers. My mechanic said that they are all pretty much the same thing now days. A sticker on a battery. I do try to get USA made ones when possible. I hope I mentioned the right series. I'd review the battery comparison to be sure.

Regarding still using the original battery, I do carry a NOCO GB40 1000 amp lithium booster. We carry one in each of our 3 family vehicles. I used to carry a sealed lead acid type but the new lithium units are way better. Light weight & hold a charge at least a year.
I have only ever needed to use one for myself on my Dodge van.
I was in the Gulf Islands & had been charging my cell phone for a few hours & when we decided to head to the ferry the battery was dead. Very grateful to have the booster.
I bet I have started at least 10 vehicles belonging to other people over the past few years, way way safer than jumper cables.

Nice. A booster is handy
Thanks, since Im a sucker for new tech stuff I recently purchased another booster that uses Super Capacitors instead of lithium batteries.
According to the review I saw if you have enough energy to run your dome light there is enough power to charge up the internal
Super Caps to give yourself a boost. Worst case you can charge it from a cell phone booster or another vehicle.
Do you have a link to what you bought?
