I should have written a follow-up. The guy that said to take my car in and they would follow me was the general manager.

The next week I called to book an appointment and the service manager said he didn't know what the general manager was talking about and he would just hook it up to a computer and it would cost me $60 so I decided not to pursue it.

I've been taking the fast odometer into account when calculating fuel economy.

I need to be honest, I haven't been entirely happy with Nissan with regards to issues I've had. I feel as though they like to play dumb, pass the buck, and run us in circles until we finally give up.

So far, I've bought cars from and had to deal with a Chrysler dealership, a GM Pontiac/Buick/GMC dealership, a Chevrolet/Oldsmobile dealership, and now a Nissan dealership. Out of all of them, I'd have to say that Nissan has been the worst experience, which is disappointing, considering that their cars seem pretty well engineered for their price points. Even when we took the Versa in because the windshield washer nozzles were never properly aligned, they made us feel as though we were inconveniencing them.

I hate to say it, but the best dealership experience I've ever had was with the Chrysler dealership. Might be time for me to take a second look at their lineup again.

In our culture obsessed with absurd excess, the Nissan Micra is my counterculture car of choice.

The good news is you'll have plenty of opportunities to enjoy the Chrysler dealership experience if you buy one of their cars.

I've got the same app and a few other GPS speedometers on my smart phone; all of them consistently show our Micra's speedo about 5+ km/hr below the actual speed. Not a big issue though, we've decided to live with it & use the GPS speedo on longer trips outside the city. If you use the driving function in Google Maps, you can get some speedometer apps for both Apple & Android that will display live telemetry (speed in km/hr or mph, and altitude) on the map as you drive, handy thing to have...
    Nice!

    My 2015 is way off.
    Has anyone had theirs corrected?

    If so, how?
