Yeah the actual steel bumper is pretty small and thin. The mustache is actually cut from some mustache duct tape I had here. My daughters were teasing me one day calling my micra girl names so I stuck it on there to signify "boy car" Your car may have a couple extra steps since you have a SR with the fog lamps I dont know but it is easy to do and took me twenty minutes to take it off the first time once the wheels are off and ten to put it back on.

How do you take of the top grille? I believe the bottom grille is part of the bumper skin.

Both grilles are in the bumper skin.

Top grille clips into the bumper skin from behind. You will need a plastic or soft prying implement to not scratch the paint. And yes, the lower grille is a moulded part of the skin.

I thought you would have one by now. Post #29 on this thread and post #30 on the micra modification thread oughta do it. If nothing else it is great jewelry for the car and makes a good place to attach my dog when at my rental property working. I think it just screams " I am a micra cup fan" to those who know what one looks like.

Tow hook: needs a dedicated thread! Makes it easier to find when people are searching.

Had the car for 2 months now. As I walked towards it, I noticed a few fins bent. I don't have the tools to remove the bumper, so I'll try my best to apply this as the first poster did. Thanks for all the posts, I'll give it a try.

I didn't take off the grill, or bumper. Cut 3 pieces of wire, fed each one through the small opening on the top left (facing the car) and fed them through to the right, dropped one, fought with the ties, dropped a few of those, but after almost 4 hours, the top is done! Next warm day the bottom grill with longer zip ties! Not as neat as some, but got it done! Not bad for a 'girl'! lol
