You'd have to use a third party exporter, I have my own personal exporter in Japan. (Paid about 40-50$ shipped to Canada.) Buyee is one, so is Up Garage's "Croooober" there is also Global Rakuten all companies that export used or new goods that are for the Japanese domestic market.

    Hi All,

Thank you very much for the information on this post. I wanted to tell you all my experience with getting these head rests in Ontario, Canada from Yahoo Auctions Japan and Buyee.

I won a Yahoo Auctions Japan auction for a pair of K13 March head rests for about 2,800 yen or around $35 CAD. I saw the shipping was to be covered by myself and did a little googling and saw that it shouldn't be much. Unfortunately you pay for shipping to Buyee, Buyee fees, Shipping to you, and duty fees. All tallied this head rest swap cost me around $150 CAD. However I did spring for the DHL shipping instead of the sea-shipping which said it would take 60 days which was about half as much.

Head rests arrived in a box wrapped in some Japanese newspaper and bubble wrap:

Overall I'm very happy with the install and process, however just be cautioned that it is quite expensive.

If anybody wants some unused (literally never, car has 2,000 KM on it) head rests from a stock Canadian Nissan Micra, please message me I'd be happy to send them to you for the cost of shipping.

    Regards,

    Donny

    Thanks for the update, Donny!

Those new low profile headrests look much more practical.

the 2015 fit has those...and they are not interchangeable with a micra lol...good for driver but rear passenger has giant bumfle in their neck so they must raise....and never put down....electric raising and lowering rear headrests...a future project
    2015 Micra S (manual)
    no A/C /no power options/ block heater/4x 2 Ohm speakers...all factory stock in 2015
    Feb 2015 build
    9,999 purchase price + tax..no additional 1600$ because it was a 2015 purchased in 2016
so receipt says $8,399....+1600 .... so they look good i guess...for a brand new car!

Wish I could figure out how to buy the head rests LOL. I agree with everyone that the NA spec ones are crap. We take them out and they , as said already, block the rear view significantly.
