Building a Subwoofer/amp box for the Micra.

So after installing a new Kenwood double din deck and picking up some component speakers my next task is to build a box to house a 10" sub and a 5 channel amp.

Here is my progress so far.

Basic premise of the box itself.

Test fitting the box with lid in the trunk of the micra. The cut out rectangle is where the amp will sit.

The box itself with the subwoofer hole cut out and ive built up the amp rack so the top of the amp sits flush with the opening.

Im by no means an expert at this kind of stuff im just learning has i go. Next up will be carpet.

it looks impressive....and heavy....any way you can take the dimensions of the top shape piece so people can recreate it ?
    2015 Micra S (manual)
    no A/C /no power options/ block heater/4x 2 Ohm speakers...all factory stock in 2015
    Feb 2015 build
    9,999 purchase price + tax..no additional 1600$ because it was a 2015 purchased in 2016
so receipt says $8,399....+1600 .... so they look good i guess...for a brand new car!

The box weighs around 64 pounds.
    The sub weighs 18 pounds.
    Amp is around 10 pound

So in total i added just under 100 pounds to the trunk. Oh well.
