Have anyone think of putting the Juke Turbo engine into the Micra?

When I was doing more & more research on this little guy, I just realized that Juke Turbo's engine is basically the same but + turbo (according to the engine code)

I really do wonder have anyone think of pulling the Juke turbo engine or that turbo kit, and put it into the Micra?
    Or it's just too big?

It’s not so much that the engines are similar “looking”, but that they use the same chassis platform and share the same engine bay ( minus the jukes support bracket on the passenger side strut tower. )
That’s what makes the swap doable

The fact that the engines share the same “foot print” is because they have the same engine bay.
The best evidence of this is the fact that the juke uses both the hr16 and mr16 this supports the idea that they are relatively factory interchangeable, just use the whole sub frame axles and all.

You basically need a jukes front end clip for all the pieces.

But with a lot of money and time it could be done.

Turbos have been installed on the hr16de and sr20s have been swapped in also.
I believe a VQ35 v6 was swapped on an older gen micra
And they swapped a GTRs VR38DETT into a jukeR so it’s theoretically possible for the micra too.
Warning : Nissan engineers spent over a million dollars just modifing the transmission.

hahahah, SWEEET!! That means if I find a Juke turbo crashed, and the engine is still in good condition, it should be do-able project without breaking the bank (I will only put 3000 max for the engine + labor LMAO)

Another thing which I am wondering is how high the chance that we can just pull the AWD drivetrain, and put in into this little car.
Just bolt on, and go. without much modification work

Engine and fwd trans axles and sub frame is $3k or more. Add Ecu install. Custom stuff.
No awd will not work without serious mods and money. At which point it’s kinda like why do t you just buy a juke and make it lighter?

Soo $2000Cdn ? Well it’s just the engine, and it’s at $1695 right now and that 2300cdn before I port taxes and duty.
I also bet free shipping is only in continental US.

In either case $1500 cdn or less should Net you a engine in Canada.

My advice get a good one with good comp and less- turbo and buy a $700 direct mr16ddt turbo swap.

I know. It's just day dreaming of upgrading this car, and make it as fast as a STI or even better LOL.

Btw, I can't open your attached image, what is inside the image?
