Who said the Micra is too small?

Pulled off what I thought couldn't be done yesterday on a trip from the airport the Micra managed to carry three people, four full-size suitcases (one on the roof) and two carry-on luggage. Car didn't feel overly bogged down, either. I've said it before and I'll say it again: hatchbacks are one of the most practical form factors around.

A vehicle can pack a lot of stuff, it's on in how you pack it. If you just throw stuff in there willy nilly then yeah, it's not going to be able to pack as much.

I have the "MICRA" blanking plate installed in the centre where the plate normally goes, so no more mounting holes there.

I got my mountain bike in the back seat of Mia. The tires were flat from storage. It just barely fit. I had the one handle between my drivers seat and the car. It stuck out just enough that when I got into the car the brake lever when up my side of my body as I sat in the drivers seat. At least now I know I can easily(somewhat) fit my bike into my Micra for road trips.

I did the same thing with a Mazda2 once with the back seat folded down, and front tire still on haha. Really amazing sometimes.

With the help of a chop saw, fit the old decking from a 12' X 16' deck in one load (needed to use the front passenger seat as well)

No need to see out of the rear view mirror at all.
