I just assembled it this morning. Fit up still isn't where I'd like it to be, but that doesn't stop them from working, its just an assembly thing. I really just need someone to test it out now, work with me on getting pictures and clearing up any issues that there might be with installation and actual use.
Here are some pics:
Spacewolf has agreed to test out the MAF housing on his up and coming CAI setup! For this he gets a free MAF housing. Thanks Spacewolf!
Thanks for stepping up, spacewolf.

Got another coupler yesterday. Should be good to start mocking it up as soon as it arrives

I used this kit with maf adapter on my micra and worked perfect.
This is a picture of how it looked (it was attached understand the fr lh headlight).
Got the MAF housing on Monday morning and threw it in with a ghetto version of the intake I'm trying to put together. It really opened up the engine! I'm in the process of fixing a few things, taking some dimensions so I can do up a 3D model with adjustments for a better inlet than what I made out of fiberglass.
The MAF housing worked perfectly and didn't throw any codes and I ran it pretty hard this week. However, it needs a couple of tweaks.
Temporary install still using OEM flex tube and crank case vent tube:
Slight crack in MAF threading on one side:
As you can see the extra tension needed to ensure a seal is made ended up splitting it a bit. I've thrown some silicone over the spot and I'm going to dremel in a lip for the MAF sensor and seal it with some more silicone.
Daox, I know there are limitation with printing the 3D model, but do you think we can edit the design to use the metal threads off of the OEM housing? That should solve for any tension problems over time or use a nut with lock ring on the bottom instead of threading the holes?

nut pockets are definitely doable, first couple of runs are always a pain figuring out squish and shrinkage lol. Were the screws just in to the plastic?
