    Audio / steering wheel controls

    Hi there,

I have a base 2015 micra with cruise control
I would like to add the audio controls on the other side of the steering wheel. Does anyone know if the steering column is pre wired for that? I plan to be using an aftermarket/chinese radio with its own bluetooth module.

I know for fact youll need the wiring harness that goes from the controls on the steering wheel, into the plug behind the steering wheel. Past that, I am 95% sure its prewired.

I should findout for sure in the comming weeks, as I will be buying a steering wheel from an SR and installing it in my S

I have a beautiful leather wrapped steering wheel. With decorative cruise control and radio control buttons. I need a clockspring from an SV or SR ($100 at the wrecker) with that the radio control should work. But i doubt that alone would make the cruise control function.

For now i am not pushing it further until i can find a clockspring for under $50

Stupid question sir, why do you need a clockspring from an SV or SR?

Because they have cruise control and radio control. The plugs on the clockspring on the base model only have one prong. The one on the sv and sr has a like 8 or 10 prongs... I forgot the exact number.

My base model has cruise control only, I guess I'll have to pull the airbag and find out

Any update on your steering wheel upgrade? Nothing here. I just got on vacation.
