Nissan India won’t launch the fifth-gen European Nissan Micra that went on sale last month. Contradictory to speculations until last year, the new model still uses the V-platform of the fourth-gen model sold in India, but still, it’s given a skip for India.

That last bit is very odd: they're claiming the underpinnings of the new car are the same as the K13.

Doesn't matter:

Nissan India will focus only on premium cars while sister brand Datsun will sell the entry-level, low-cost cars.
So it's just the Micra-based Datsun Go for India?

I wonder how this decision affects Indian Micra production, because...
