    Nissan Key Blanks...where to buy?

I need a new transponder key blank. I always like to have 3 keys. Who has done this themselves and where did you buy the blank? Are there instructions in the owners manual?

I think you can get them at canadian tire, or go to a locksmith you will need the code that came with one of your keys so they can program it.

For me... I did it the cheap way. Got a regular key cut for a few $. I can unlock the car but because it doesnt have a chip I cant start the car with it. I just keep it in my wallet in case I lock my keys inside which has all ready happened a few times.

Need the chip key. It's cheap insurance against having to have the dealer program a key if you lose one, as you need 2 to program a new key.
