Hello from the West Coast of Canada

    Hi my name is Dennis.
    I live in Chilliwack B.C.
My daily driver is a 92 Civic VX but I am open to any car that can attain as good or better MPG, so that does limit the the number of choices.
Before I found the VX I made the big mistake of buying a brand new 2007 Yaris thinking that it would get awesome MPG, not so much, I think the average was 37 MPG it took me several years to get rid of it at a loss.

    Hello, Dennis!

I've been through your neck of the woods a few times by car, going eastern Ontario <--> Vancouver.

So that 37 mpg in the Yaris, was that in Imperial or US gallons? I assume you drive a lot -- thus the need for efficiency. Hard to beat an old VX for cruising fuel economy. But they're long gone from rust belt Ontario!

    Darin

Sorry I am so used to only thinking in US gallons.
The car ads in Canada are always advertising in gallons to sell cars with high MPG, of course then you have to adjust the awesome MPG to US MPG or metric and realize that they are using it to lie to us.
We are a metric country, just advertise in metric and never mind scamming us.
    Sorry rant over ..
I drive only for the love of driving, so high MPG is essential.
