The manual says there's a low fuel light, plus...

When one segment remains on the digital fuel
gauge, only one segment will blink. When no
segments remain on the digital fuel gauge, the
fuel gauge symbol and the scale will blink.
    Also...

Also anyone notice when the gas gets below half tank it seems to go down to empty quicker?!?
Yeah, that's normal. Every car I've ever had did the same thing. Typically I can drive ~1/4 of my normal tank range before the gauge even moves off the "full" mark!

Hey - you should get a pic of your Micra and make a garage entry: add car

Did a 180 km round trip on Sunday 99 % highway
Left home with a full tank and returned home with a full tank
I was curious how much fuel I had used so stopped at the gas station a couple of km's from home
took all of $7 to top up the tank which in my world is to the top of the fill tube

Drove mine down to 70 kms left and the thingy started blinking, I put in 16.49 litres, and it got me up to 380 km ( half a tank according to the gauge )...Drove around for about another 100k and went down to 340.

Hey everyone, just finished my first real tank on my new 5pd SV. It had about 1300 km on odo.

I drove it for about 500 km with three adults.

I filled up with 700 km on the trip and probably still had at least 40 km left in it. The dash read 5.0 litres average. But I calculated from 41 l on fuelly. I put 36 l in. I will see how it does on the 400 hwy. I'm expecting it to be a little less. We'll see.

At first I was getting 7.2l/100km, mostly city driving, but now with the cold weather and heater on most of the time I am only getting 8.1l/100km. That's with the automatic transmission and ecofriendly driving. what is very very wierd is that each time I fuel up I reset the computer for average and it still showed 6,8l/100km! what the heck.. not sure what's going on. Recorging my mileage and amount of liters filled up in fuelly, it's not adding up with the computer at all. I get a 1.3l/100km difference.

My car is the same dani3d! Almost all city driving and the computer says 7.2l/100km but every fill up I've done so far the actual numbers come up as 8.3l/100km! Its messed up.

if your running the defroster or heat shut off the a/c (comes on automatically)
engine does not work as hard so you will save fuel
that's what I've being doing and i haven't noticed any increase in fuel consumption
