They don't give you the day off for your birthday?

I love this fantastic Micra. Love the ride. Love the colour. Love the size. Love the light in the hatchback. Love the bluetooth. Love the fact the rear windows go all the way down. Love the headlights that someone took time to aim in the right places. Love the fuel filler being on the drivers side. Love that the fuel filler door locks from inside the car. (No need for key.) Love the stainless steel license bolts put on by dealer.

That cake is very neat, but I have to commend whoever cut the watermelon into a basket! Awesome idea, going to have to steal that one.

I see the ant knows how to use a fork!

Looks like a great day for a picnic. Belated Happy Birthday!

We might not have critical mass for a Micra meet-up for a little while longer.

How long is a little while? Had my new Micra for twelve weeks today and never seen one yet.

It's a 2015 model new to the vast majority of Canadians unfamiliar with its history, so people are still skeptical and see it as merely an alternative to the likes of the Hyundai Accent. Not too many Accent meets I reckon, given the purely utilitarian reputation it's garnered. Once people realize what a steal this fine demonstration of Japanese engineering really is, I predict there will be a mad rush at the last minute...then the question will be, will others recognize the Micra as the modern day classic it is, or as an appliance?

In our culture obsessed with absurd excess, the Nissan Micra is my counterculture car of choice.

That's odd - because I really don't drive very much, and I've seen plenty of them. I must be getting close to 10 Micras spotted in the wild.

Love your latest picture - red/white/red/white/red/white...
