I think you are right. I just wish I could test drive one with a manual transmission. I might have to go in and test the automatic Micra and Note I guess. I really had it in my mind to get the base Micra S and be done with it, but none available (2016 or 2017!) so that would mean seeing if I could order one. I would have considered a leftover 2016 Micra but all that's available with manual trans is the SR and it is not at the local dealership. How come everyone buys automatics now?? I have been driving a shift-it-yourself car for 28 years and don't plan to stop. Save The Manuals
