N.Falls dealer has 3 2015 S on the lot. I guess nobody drives stick down here. Mine's the black one. Red and Blue still available 10K includes tax. Was time to unload the Suzuki SX4.

Hey, congrats!
It's funny that nobody seems to be buying stick, because MOST of the owners here have manuals:
Thread: Micra Garage stats overview... forum members love their 5-speeds, SR's and base S's
But I guess forum participants aren't representative.
And on that note... welcome to the forum!

Oh, wow - I just noticed you said 2015. Is that right, not 2016?
I'm surprised there are still new 2015's kicking around.

Yeah, 2015. Surprised me also. I was looking for an Accent or a Rio with manual transmission and A/C but it's very hard to get. When I found out the 2015 Nissan Micras were still available and discounted because the warranty has a year chopped off of it, I jumped at the opportunity. Had a choice of 3 on the lot.. black, blue or red so that was a further bonus.
I couldn't get the Kia or Hyundai guys to even take an interest in finding me a base model Accent or Rio. Seems like they don't make a lot on these deals so bringing a car in from another lot is not worth the effort. The ones they have on the lot are automatics with extras and you end up paying close to 20K. It wouldn't break the bank but I'm a minimalist. We don't have a Mitsubishi dealership down here and the local Chevy dealer is not very reputable so I didn't even look at the Mirage or the Spark.
Only thing I'm going to miss is the A/C but I'll work around this.
Thanks,
Yes, I've always driven stick when given the choice. I think in my 44 years of driving I've owned three vehicles with automatic transmissions.
Kia dealer told me that he'd sold ONE car with manual transmission all year. Hard to believe that they've become so unpopular. When I was a young guy almost everybody drove stick.
I'm the same: have had about 30 different cars. 2 automatics.
These days a manual transmission is considered an anti-theft device.

Thanks for posting this. I sent the person who is hunting down a manual Micra for me a link to the Blue 2015 they have which is a manual. She told me today that there were no Micra S's anywhere that are manual and would I take an automatic. pffft, as if!!! I think I showed her..lol

First rule of car sales: sell what's on the lot. Make the sale.
"What car can we get you in today?"
Yes, this is the difference between the advertised Kia/Hyundai base model deals and the Micra: Nissan actually sells a fair number of manual Micras.Kia dealer told me that he'd sold ONE car with manual transmission all year.
