    Load rating for winter tires

    Hey all,

I'd like to know if, when buying the Blizzak WS80, the load rating difference from the manufacturer's recommendation is a cause for concern?

    Manufacturer recommendation: 185 55 R16 / 83H
    Bridgestone-Blizzak WS80: : 185 55 R16 XL BL 87T

Looking to use these for GTA (Toronto) weathers. If anyone is interested in price, I looked around and Costco's seems to be the best deal at $596.16, including tax & installation.

If it makes a difference, I'm driving the '16 SR trim.

Any advice/recommendations would be much appreciated. Thanks!

The load/speed rating should be now lower then OEM spec. The blizzaks are higher. That's a good thing.

Your fine either way. You could fill your micra with concrete on either load rating tire and not worry about it. ha ha. I ran e load AT tires on my jeep for years when it came with P series junk, and it was great. going from a 83 to an 87 is like going from a sacuony to a nike.
