It will be in the showroom early march 2017.

Prices will start around 15.000 euros for the base model (called Visia), and the top model (called Tekna) will be around 20.000 euros. When you fully personalize the top model, it will cost around 22.000 euros.

It's a totally new car replacing both Micra and Note, so prices can't be compared with the K13 Micra. I have the top model of the K13 and it only was 16.000 euros...

Still reminds me of a Murano or Matrix from the rear for some reason. I wonder how the new Micra will stack up against the new (2017) Yaris hot hatch?

Am I the only one that things the front is hideous? Especially the grille area. I am not onboard with the looks at all, and am glad I got the K13. There are bits of the interior that would have been nice, standard backup cam being one, but other than that, just no.

I definitely think there are angles and cameras that make it look bad. The above pic is one of them, for sure.

    you're not.

i also really dislike the blacking out of the C pillar.
    and also the rear taillights.

it's all part of the 'grrr' trend that is so in fashion, for today's japanese cars.

oh well, i'll keep enjoying our current micra.

Its an interesting change for the car. Big change. I am not surprised Nissan is slow to change over in USA and Canada.
Reminds me of Volkswagen. A few years behind Europe. Its in line with the trends to sharp angles like Honda, Toyota, have introduced. I have not heard of sales increases. The looks on some are just awful to me. New Micra is not bad. A sharp angled 2000 Ford Focus hatch LOL

I like the front end. To me it looks very CRZish which IMO is a great looking car. I do not like the blacked out C pillars for sure.

From a tiny bit of googling, it looks like they've dropped the weight on the new gen which is good to see. I found a UK review that said it weighs in at 1001kg. But, they're driving it with a .9L turboed engine.

VS. current Canadian Micra = 1044 kg (2302 lbs)for the 2015 manual, and 1072 (2363) for the slushbox.

It's nice to see decades of bloat being slightly reversed on many cars these days.
