Thread: Block heater extension cord with grille-mounted covered recepticle/outlet

    I know winter is still several months away but I finally decided to install my block heater extension cord.

    Rerouting the stock cord was a bit of a pain but now I can plug in an extension cord to the block heater without opening the hood.

    I think I bought this off of ebay I can't remember. Noco is the brand.

    That's a great little modification. Better doing it now than at -10!

    Mind if I copy it to a dedicated thread to get more eyeballs on it?

    Yup, considering some people have had trouble routing the short OEM power cord to a location they want.
