    isn't driving 120kms/hr illegal? Probably not any noisier than having a convertible either.

    lets not kid ourselves, we all often do 140+ kph on certain parts of highway

    I personally find the car louder at low speed, is it just me? Loud rumble under 60 km but then it gets a lot more quiet.

    I wonder if you have a wheel bearing going - we've seen a report or two of that happening. It can sound like a rumble at low/moderate speeds, but may be drowned out by wind & tire noise at higher speeds.

    I just had the bearing replaced on the left rear. @23000kms. BIG difference in sound.

    However the car seems to be made of tin, it is a hatchback and for cost purposed it is probably lined with newspaper as sound damping insulation! Even the gage of the glass is ultra thin. I can usually hear the person in the next car fart at a stop light.

    Been that way since I got it and I'm only at 600 km, so prob not the bearing but thanks. I prob just need to get used to a louder engine.
