Just me, but I'd put it on the other side, like the OEM...

Too much of a hassle and I wouldn't be able to now with the screen on. I love that pic you posted, and those 'fog' lights, love that look; reminds me of TV show years ago, "Knight Rider".

papapoil, neat, I didn't know you had one also, but how did you get to that side? The only area I could access was where mine is, and I prefer it on the left luckily. That's why it was SO hard to work on the other side with the screen as you can't access the other side at all from behind, unless you remove the grill, which I didn't do.

Well, Wynter, that was not easy... I was able to hold the metal plates and the nuts behind the grille with two fingers, and tighten both nuts with the other hand. I did not use any tools. Hand tightening was sufficient. I dipped both screws in anti-rust compound, and put a good coat of wax on the silver part. Let's see how long it will last.

I think you bought your plate from the same ebay seller as mine. Were you satisfied with the quality of the part?

Anyway, you did a great job! And it looks pretty good

Were you able to reach your hand in behind the grill there? Under the hood it's all sealed except on the left, reason mine is there, and I also tightened it by hand. Great advice to coat it with wax and rust-proof the hardware!
I may do that and move mine a bit further down!

Yes, was on ebay and I was happy with the quality, considering it was around $8.

No, I did not reach the back of the grille from the top, but I squeezed the parts through the openings of the grille

My only deception was that my package has been opened by the Border Services, and one nut was missing. I was able to find better stainless nuts anyway. Be really careful not to drop the two metal brackets inside the bumper while you hold them behind the grille, it's a pain to retrieve them in there... I dropped one and had to slide my hand between the fender lining and the bumper skin to get it back...
