    Paint Protection Films

    http://www.ebay.ca/itm/3M-Scotchgard...tWG1XV&vxp=mtr

Dealership was trying to sell this http://protexppf.com/en/ to me for.. 700$ + tax.. and it was justified by the dealership that the films were invented and made in Quebec...

This stuff is supposed to be good, see it a lot on bumpers, sills, bottom wheel arches etc. But that itself is the problem I have with it, you can see it. And don't know how long it's spose to last before you change it but after a while it goes all mucky and yellow-ish. But then again you only see it on cars that are 6/7+ years old. So maybe that's how long it lasts? And they may well of made it much much better by now.

what all was going to have the 3m applied, I have done quotes for up to 1500 dollars for the 3m film. Keep in mind that material is cheap. Time however is not.

Applying, cutting, everything about installing this stuff is a pain. Id go the direction of a bug deflector myself as we normally see most of the damage coming around the front of the hood when nothing is applied.
