    Bah, you know what? Some people pay more than a hundred thousand bucks for a 7-Serie BMW or an S-Class Mercedes, or more than fifty thousand bucks for a high end Hi-Fi system, or several thousand dollars for a carbon fiber bike. So collecting die-cast models is a really reasonable passion. Go for it!

    I collect diecast, I find garage sales are the best ways to find ones from my childhood. Not a diehard collector. Find one I like and get it.

    7 years and I am free from the mortgage shackles.. until then, i have to keep my "fun" fund low..
