    Too close for comfort

    Really?!

IF that were my car, I'd have reversed it a bit so it wasn't touching. Next time I won't pull up as far either. Had a situation yesterday where I couldn't even open the hatch as a truck pulled 1' into my spot behind me.
Once I had to enter my Toyota via the passenger door, or you park far away and someone is too close beside you. UGH!

Have any of these experiences?, share!

Yep! This happens to me quite a bit. Its why if I pull into a parking space between two larger vehicles I stay at the back. People dont see the micra and they whip in to see SURPRISE! Theres a micra.

Awesome advice, will do that from now on, and yes, I've almost done it myself. I try to park on the highest spot if the lot isn't flat to avoid run-away buggies, and/or close to the line beside wheelchair spots as they are larger and then the guy beside me isn't 'too close for comfort'.

My father sent me this a while ago. This person parked so close behind him, he couldn't get his lift gate open. He may or may not have accidentally caused the front badge of the truck to break off when the lift gate may or may not have become caught on it.

I always back into my spots. I keep my tools in my trunk. Would be a shame if someone parked so close, I might accidentally dropped my 440's on their hood...

In our culture obsessed with absurd excess, the Nissan Micra is my counterculture car of choice.

^ Well accidents do indeed happen. When pennies were a thing. I would sometimes play with them in my hand to soothe me from the distraction from tailgaters.. Of course my hand was out the window at these times.. And of course -ACCIDENTALLY- I could loose my grip.

Much like I used to pick up marbles from the dollar store for my kids. And I would forget that I'd keep them in my motorcycle jacket pocket. And silly me.. I would open this pocket when tailgaters were around, just to make sure the zipper was closed and they would fall out!

Of course.. 10 years later and now I consider the repercussions of this, and don't do it anymore.

well.. another thing, we have a handicap reserved parking slot in our condo's visitor parking. There's a jerk that keep parking there, we have towed her car 5 times already, and she always comes back.. at the same spot even there's other free spots.. we have tried to talk to her.. she always come back.. we are out of ideas about her.. we just tell the towing company to tow her car every he sees it..

this is today's tower in action..
