Palourde77 is that thing stainless? Nice work! Can we have a picture of the attachment points under the front? I think your design would be safe if you ever took a heavy hit to the front end as it would still collapse like the one in the picture that Howie posted above. That being said small deer, dogs (fox , wolf , coyotes) wild turkey and frail elderly humans would not pose a threat to your new rad.

yeah it's stainless! next time I lift the car I take pictures. The bar attach to the subframe near the wheel,on smaller tube and stabilse to the radiator rack. on small impact it will be ok but on big impact it will probably bend and brake the nut that hold it in place. The versa that hit me in the back at less than 50km-h nearly desintegrate! The guy who done it do roll cage, race car, real nice turbo kit and exhaust for ferrari!!!! so I trust him

Yeah I can tell from your pictures that was fabricated by a pro for sure. I know that people who weld as a hobby don't make a piece like that.Sweet

Nicely done. When I first read it I was thinking oh boy, this is going to look ridiculous. Turns out it was very tastefully done. Good job!

Oh ok.. Its bolted to the lower control arms where they mount into the subframe. Should be just fine there.
