Thanks to this Forum and you, the members

My first post was about the negative issues I had with my new Micra. I was not a happy camper!
Since reading your replies and other posts in the forums, I've dealt with some issues through members suggestions, and am very excited about my car, the color and really enjoy this forum, which has helped a lot!

    Thanks!

No worries! It can be hard to love your car again for example.. Mine had a bad engine. It happens. Long thread all about it. It was hard for me to enjoy the car again afterwords. I felt betrayed. But each time I go for a boot, or fuel it up. It got better. Or seeing how small my payment was.

At this point, I love the little Nazarin.

Sorry you went through the stress of a bad engine and I hope the warranty took care of it. For sure things like that make us question the car, but as you said, it can happen.

I had my Toyota for 16 years. Took a while to get used to some Micra features that were bothersome, but it has some neat features like intermittent wipers and cruise (never used yet).

    I'm surprised the Corolla lasted:

My son drove it 2 years and took 10 years off its life,
Daughter drove it a few times, took 10 years off MY life! lol

You get to go through this 3 times!

Had car in for oil change, guy said, 'you go around corners fast, lots of wear on tire edges', no, but I know who does!

'Kids' have their own cars for years now, so this Micra is all mine!

I finally love the little Iddldo, (old personalized licence I had), glad you're happy with your little Nazarin, neat name! Thx!

I think the important thing to remember is that the Micra, which actually dates back to 1982, is true to its roots...warts and all. Except for the fact that we get a much more powerful engine and significantly better handling, which more than makes up for all the warts.

In our culture obsessed with absurd excess, the Nissan Micra is my counterculture car of choice.

I can handle the 'warts', but to deliver a car with a scratch, dent and chip was my biggest issue. At least the dent was removed, the marks, maybe I'll get a few decals to cover them!

I love the decals here, and figure it would protect that area and cover it at the same time!
