Just got in from going over the car and pulling all the quills. Everything is ok behind the rad and the fan spins freely so it's hammer down in the morning. I knew there had to be more than a cracked bumper and grille just by how it felt and the fact that it launched the car off the ground. My micra with me and a full tank of gas is 2600 lbs. so porcipine's aren't just sharp they are hard and heavy! I didn't have time to fix the grille and bumper properly today but I thew a few gobs of kwik steel on it to prevent further damage.
Glad it wasn't worse. Micras weren't designed to fly.

It must be porkypine week here in central Ontario. This morning at around 5:00 a.m. on hwy. #14 north of Springbrook Ont. there was another one on the road even bigger than the one from Tuesday. This time I had room to swerve and miss it but to see two in a week on the road tells me that something is up with these things hungry, mating season or something else but they are on the move for sure.
All I gotta say is....
