OK. I got a can of Turtle Wax Black Tire Coat a couple of weeks ago from my brother and finally had some time to try it out. Today had some sun so I tested it out on my winter tires. Here are the product pictures:

And here are a couple of tire pictures. I should have taken before and after pictures. They look like they are wet even though they are really dry to the touch. Takes at least an hour to dry.

If they hold out through the winter then I am going to do up the original 16" alloy tires the same. They claim up to four months; we will see. Thing is they won't be installed on the car for at least another month.

Well... the tire coating didn't last long. Car wash has removed it. looks like a good product for someone who hand washes a car. It did look pretty cool though having "wet" wheels for a while.

You would have gone through the north side of the city on a train. Used to be called Newcastle when we were towns years ago. You wouldn't have had much to look at either. Traveling by train; haven't done that in a while.

Me neither. I went from Brockville to Halifax. Took the train just for a change.

Just swapped out my dome light today. Chef Groleau and I think Doomfis have already done this. Got mine off of Aliexpress; took a month but happy with it.

Here is a picture of it installed. I swapped out the center light for my 18 element LED that I was using before.

Notice the quality of the light (bulb/LED/bulb). The side bulbs are actually dimmer in the real world; the camera seems to make them look brighter. Yes, they do look more orange/yellow in the real world; near useless for me, hence the reason to upgrade to brighter LEDs. I'm still waiting for the three LED set that will replace all of the lights and the LED array I am using now.

"Upgraded" my AC control knobs again. I could not get any paint that would work correctly on the clear plastic ones so I ordered red colored ones. This is the way to go colorwise. It's an exact match to the Micras dash lighting color.

They look great and they were a hell of a lot cheaper this time around. About $5.40 CDN shipped. Never bothered with eBay this time; went right to AliExpress. If anyone is interested, this is the link to where I purchased them from:
