No cutting, I also did the the install myself.
It’s very simple, you’ll also fit underneath without the need to jack the car.

What was the older smaller Micra rated to pull?
So they did an excellent job!
My wiring kit was a universal from SRG so it took some time. My interior was removed and put back minty.
The cable going under the car not through the trunk...
