I would bet the "adhesive" used to hold the headliner to the roof panel has come unstuck. My headliner was not being held at all.

Third time's the charm! Again, the photos don't quite do it justice. Here is hoping the adhesive holds!
Important lesson learned today. Scotch guard material BEFORE upholstering. The scotch guard ate the adhesive and released it. Oh well. I'll be pretty good at laying down a micra headliner soon!...
Not a HUGE difference, other than it echoed a bit.

Got around to recovering the headliner today. If I get god weather one evening this weekend, it'll go back in.

FINALLY got around to pulling my headliner down today.
It is an easy job, just need to take down light, microphone (if installed) visors, passenger grab handle, and two push in clips at the rear....
first time I've heard of a vibrating headliner. Then again, I bet your whole micra vibrates ;)
Take the headliner down so I can re-upholster it.
Had no luck with spare ultraleather for a headliner at work, will be looking for some material in Toronto prior to the TFC game today. I'm going to try and lighten up the interior with white.
Has anyone dropped the headliner in their Micra yet?
