No, photo from LilGeckos shows female connector as part of the diagnostic connector system. My photo shows the plug (male) connected to the female port; as best as I can make out.

The OBD connector has a connector plugged into it via the factory.
Is this the pickup for the dash readout? If so, how can you use a ScanGauge and still maintain the dash readout simultaneously?
