I also recently saw a cache of base S 2019 Micras for sale at a dealership in Alberta. Not discounted AT ALL. In fact, they seemed to be priced a bit higher than MSRP. Very odd.

Well, it looks like the party's over... Nissan's 1st quarter 2021 sales report shows zero Micras sold in Jan-Feb-Mar.

155 Micras sold from Oct through Dec, or 52 on average per month.

They're running out of stock! That's a 89% decrease from the same period last year.

By comparison, Nissan sales...

1,239 Micras sold from July through Sept, or 279 on average per month.

That's a 25% decrease from the same period last year.

By comparison, Nissan sales overall: 14.5 per cent decrease.

Amazingly, the Chevy Spark managed to *increase* its sales in the 2nd quarter over the 1st quarter: 548 Sparks found buyers per month on average...

Micra sales plummeted -62% in March compared to a year earlier.

That's 220 sales vs. 582 in March 2019.

Ominously, that's less of a drop than the fleet average for Nissan:

Shocker: Just tallied up the 2019 Canadian Micra/Mirage/Spark sales, and the Spark beat them all. In fact, Spark just had its best year in Canada, while Micra and Mirage declined.
