Well if you want to burn non-ethanol fuel and get around 10% better fuel economy, then run 91 octane. That is what I do on all my gasoline powered vehicles, motorcycles and lawn equipment.

The only real difference is no ethanol in 91+. Ethanol is terrible for metal parts, rubber, emissions systems, etc. yet the Micra is made for 87. Put whatever you want in it except Diesel.
