wow @ those mirage/spark figures.
hahaha cashcow. ill remember that.
i think it's a good bet to say this oil slump in price , 2014-present, is the last time that gas guzzling mom mobile SUVs and brodozers will be so popular and dominant, before the affordable EVs take...
"Meanwhile, I'm content not spending any more money on fuel than I need to. The price of oil doesn't really change my game plan.
"
truer words have never been spoke ;)
oil geopolitics is...
have you heard the recent rumblings about OPEC"s deal with Russia for yet ANOTHER agreemtn (which will fail ofc....see prisoner's dilemma)?
i just wonder how long the relatively low gas prices...
thanks for the data, as always
yes, fleets exist, but those are all just rental vehicles, which i think is a poor barometre for measuring consumer demand. not only that, rentals notoriously lower...
it's interesting: i'd imagine most people would prioritize ride/creature comfort over slightly sporty handling , which means id thought they'd gravitate towards sparks eventually...is the micra's...
would not mind spark seeing a huge surge in sales to compete vs the micra. god knows the new spark deserves it more than the mirage ;)
i saw the lime green NEW gen Spark a few weeks ago.....oogling at it like a creep :)
the safety and convenience features that come standard are mightly impressive, best in class i believe. ...
when did the new spark come out? im wondering what impact that had on its sales.....
ditto on mirage.
yea i was gonna say: is it normal for jan to be BETTER than dec?
and holy crap what a monthly diff!
tbf, pickups are still the no. 1 most sold cars. and even in a dense, crowded city like metro vancouver, i see waaayyyy too many gas guzling SUV's.
im really happy this country accepts small cars. it's not always encouraging to see like 50+ percent of all cars be behemoth pickups or SUVs
yep, starting to see them all over vancovuer
you know how reviewers note how shaky micra can be in cross winds?
apparently micra is a beast compared to how fragile the spark feels.
honestly, i dont know if i ever want to test drive...
14% of the market for being less than a year old....
can i just say...damn! :D
woot! this shows that Canadians appreciate smaller, econmic cars :)
hopefully we continue to see this trend. Something to counter those huge pickups we all see!
stop complimenting yourself!
;)
fascinating stuff
thx for the update, metro
thats...nothing short of impressive
i look forward to 2015. i hope it has staying power, but only time will tell...
it's amazing how consistenly ugly nissan cars are , with the exception of micra.

and....leaf. ew.
wow....congrats to nissan, one of my fav car companies in the world.
mazda2 will def be a superior veh in terms of specs, and looks. it is the driver's car.
the question is the price, of...
is mirage really that cheaper to ride than most its competitors?
at least with a crappy car like smart, its size, turning radious, and parking ability is unrivaled, so there's that *unique* thing...
