thats an "old" engine.
but as i said before, on chile there are many many 76 77 series knock free, ending with H and G.
mine is 77 ending with H and [has the problem].
also 81 and 82 series from colombia knocking.
so would we good to hear from people with 88 series engine like anonymus replacement one and see if they are knock free.
as i said before, i havent heard any 88 series knocking for the moment.
Which numbers are the series?
Welp, that makes six. And with only 700km on the clock. I feel ashamed. I really do.
An I havent forgotten about the new video. Ive just been super busy. Its coming.
Thank you for your video contribution.. Helps a lot. :)
I went to the dealer and they acknowledged the problem. Perfect. This is what I wanted.
Nissan Hunt Club said they recorded audio plus made notes and sent it to Nissan Canada for further investigation.
Kind of funny when I showed the service guy a big stack of papers from this site he immediately thought it was for the Versa which I corrected him but a Versa?... Must be a related known problem.
Nissan Hunt Club advertises they ARE the #1 volume dealer in Ontario and only heard of this problem today at least this service guy did for the Micra.

Same engine in the Micra as the Versa sedan & Note.
LOL, the same **** of recording videos and all that stuff.
Of course they know what the problem is, and they know is present in some cars of ALL the models equipped with hr16de, versa, march, micra and note.
really sorry to hear they are not recognizing the problem since the beginning, but of course they will have to.
i would like to know if micra owners that dont have the knock can share their engine numbers to see from which series those engines are.
I dont think thats really going to make a difference knowing. We know in Canada that there has been over.. What, 5000 micras sold? We dont know for sure how many have the knock or not and we never will.
is not going to make a difference but will help to know if there are some particular series or they are mixed.
according to chilean numbers, they are mixed, because series 75-76 at least there, dont knock, but any extra information is usefull.
sadly probably more than you can imagine have the knock, a lot of people dont hear the knock or they only think "the engine is a little loud"
for those people, i really hope the engine throw the rod while under warranty, because if engine is out of warranty as the technical tip i shared said, they wont cover it.
