Winter weather is taking its toll: the fleet average went from 6.8 L/100 km to 6.9 since I last checked in.
It'll probably drop back down another notch or 2 when spring rolls around.
Though in the long term, it should stabilize. It's an average after all.
The fuel log hit 7.1 LHK in the winter months.
It recently dropped down to 6.9 again.
- 34 Micras tracked
- 705 fill-ups

- 6.6 L/100 km (manuals only)

Don't feel bad... I am also in Vancouver with the 4 speed ECT Automatic and am getting nowhere near the numbers people with 5 speeds and mostly highway driving are getting...
admittedly, we have an extremely short commute to work (12 minutes) and use the A/C often (compressor for defrost in Wet Vancouver Winter too) and my partner has a rather heavy foot, but we are only getting 9.3L/100kms in the city according to the car's computer.
Although I am slightly disappointed with these numbers, I still really love the great handling of the car, the accurate and light steering and the super comfortable seats and other features... I wouldn't change my purchase decision!
My 2015 is at 184,000km, gas per km is not as great. It has gone up from 6.1 to 6.6 /100km. I'm driven the new Micra's but I still think mine is a little better.
