Upgraded armrest centre console
Attachment 3230Put this in today. Has 7 USB slots. Comes with a male to male cord to connect to the cars port, as well as a 12volt accessory to USB plug in case you don't have a USB port. Only 2 of the ports on the console are data enabled ports so with it connected to the car you can still only connect 1 USB stick at a time but the other 5 slots still allow for charging devices. Since these are not for SR models because of the existing built in armrest I had to mod a little. I took off the existing armrest in September when I got new seat covers so I figured it should be fine now. Well as Donald Trump would say "Wrong", it still didn't fit. I ended up trimming the mount on the seat so there was no clearance issues preventing the lid from closing.
I got to say I was impressed with how well the mount fit into the cup holder. It felt snug enough that you probably could get away without hard mounting it. I screwed it in to the bottom of the cup holder anyway as I'm not anticipating ever taking it off again, so might as well. The fit between the seats is nice and snug but not too snug as to prevent moving the seats forward or back. The quality of the leather and stitching are top notch, 10 for 10, however the plastic parts look to be of a lower quality than I was expecting but since the plastic is mostly hidden from sight it's not that big of an issue.
It has led lights that come on when opened and are powered by 2 AAA batteries.
It's comfortable and the extra storage space is as I'm sure most of you can imagine a much welcomed addition to the interior.
