Three weeks today on my second 2015 micra. Put seventy thousand on the first one and it sounded and drove the same as day one when I got rear ended. Would not have dropped 15 k on another micra if anything in the knock thread had me worried at all. I put 65,000k on the stock firestones as well and they worked good and are very light off of the Steelies. Use synthetic oil, change it at 5000k or before ( I took out the break in oil at 2500k ) and enjoy the little bugger:) During the three weeks I have owned it I have managed to get the interior led light upgrade the condenser coil protection screen and mudflaps of coarse all on the forum here easy to do things that make your micra even better/tougher.I don't recommend reving your motor and floating your variable timing valvetrain through it's range of motion under a no load condition in your driveway with or without a phone under your hood @ 1800 to 2500 r.p.m. :)
Yes I buy the eleven dollar filter at the Nissan dealership mainly for the receipt for warranty so I can show I changed my oil and used genuine Nissan parts. (Even though its a 6$ fram with a white paint job)
