Loaded up with tools and meters for another week of work...boring I know, but my Micra makes an excellent and faithful companion for getting through the work week.

You gotta love hatchbacks. They're almost a mini-truck, get twice to three times the fuel economy, and are way easier to park!
Keep up the great thread the pictures are great
Just some post-washing pics.

Don't forget the tire foam, kids!
Yesterday, we took My Micra to my adopted home town of Belleville, Ontario for a short family road trip down memory lane.

Just kidding.. Reid's is the cheapest for milkshakes anywhere.
Loaded up with 31 meters today with all of my tools and equipment, rain gear, and my lunch cooler, front seat all the way back, still had room to spare. I put the hatch privacy cover on the front passenger seat.

Best part was having the backup camera; the meters blocked my rearward view, but that was no problem as I backed in and could see everything behind me.
So it was my wife's birthday this weekend, big milestone but not allowed to say which one, drove from Oshawa to Kingston for the thousand island dinner cruise, then drove to Bird's Creek (past Bancroft) to visit my parents the next day, then back to Oshawa. Although we could have made it to Oshawa on the same tank of gas, it was much cheaper in Peterborough, so I filled up, only to discover my best tank ever!

Oh yeah, the Micra is an awesome kick-ass road trip machine. That was with my wife and son in the car, running A/C 50% of the time, with all of our gear and luggage (they love to pack more than we need, so the boot was full as well as the extra passenger back seat).
Congrats, Paul!
How was the weather for your cruise? Saturday was nice here, just a little further east. Yesterday afternoon we had showers & t-storms roll through in the afternoon/evening.
