Just me, but I'd put it on the other side, like the OEM...

Hey that's what I did!

Looks good! The drivers side was easier to get to on mine. (passengers side to you guys sorry)
papapoil, neat, I didn't know you had one also, but how did you get to that side? The only area I could access was where mine is, and I prefer it on the left luckily. That's why it was SO hard to work on the other side with the screen as you can't access the other side at all from behind, unless you remove the grill, which I didn't do.
Well, Wynter, that was not easy... I was able to hold the metal plates and the nuts behind the grille with two fingers, and tighten both nuts with the other hand. I did not use any tools. Hand tightening was sufficient. I dipped both screws in anti-rust compound, and put a good coat of wax on the silver part. Let's see how long it will last.
I think you bought your plate from the same ebay seller as mine. Were you satisfied with the quality of the part?
Anyway, you did a great job! And it looks pretty good :)
Were you able to reach your hand in behind the grill there? Under the hood it's all sealed except on the left, reason mine is there, and I also tightened it by hand. Great advice to coat it with wax and rust-proof the hardware!
I may do that and move mine a bit further down!
Yes, was on ebay and I was happy with the quality, considering it was around $8.
No, I did not reach the back of the grille from the top, but I squeezed the parts through the openings of the grille :)
My only deception was that my package has been opened by the Border Services, and one nut was missing. I was able to find better stainless nuts anyway. Be really careful not to drop the two metal brackets inside the bumper while you hold them behind the grille, it's a pain to retrieve them in there... I dropped one and had to slide my hand between the fender lining and the bumper skin to get it back...
Got mine today. Got one for the front and back. Going to remove the pure drive and lower the SR.
Oh, jealous! Didn't think of one for the back! What kind of glue do we need to apply it? Hot glue gun or something with more 'power' lol
IF I get one, I'll remove the Micra badge and put it there....ugh...off I go shopping again!
I didn't originally plan to remove the puredrive, but once I put the MF decal above it, I saw it was a tad off, due to puredrive on a bit of an angle, which threw my level off, and now i wish I put the MF where the puredrive was, as there's a bit of paint difference there.
Post photos when applied!!
It comes with the sticky tape attached. Didn't have time to get them installed tonight, a landscaping company needed their truck first thing in the morning so I stayed late to get it out the door.
Ok so put them on tonight. I ended up pulling all the push pins out of the top of the grill and rad cover and removed the rad cover so I could access the grill.

My original plan was to remove the SR and pure drive, put the Nismo badge where the SR was and put the S below that like on the real thing but in the end I was just as happy without all the extra work. This is what I decided on, however I still might remove the R. That way the only difference from the real thing is placement height.Attachment 2335
Looks good!
I think I'll pass on Nismo badges. When I had my Hemi Charger I was always being challenged to give it a go, so I put a sign on the trunk lid that read I can't race I got groceries in the trunk. The Nismo badge will no doubt bring out those that dare. Looks nice though.
Looks great vapor! You have a nice huge shop to do the work, that makes a difference when it's still snowing!
Are there 2 different nismo decals (meaning) does one come with a adhesive to stick to the car and the other mounting for the grill?
