I think you are right. I just wish I could test drive one with a manual transmission. I might have to go in and test the automatic Micra and Note I guess. I really had it in my mind to get the base Micra S and be done with it, but none available (2016 or 2017!) so that would mean seeing if I could order one. I would have considered a leftover 2016 Micra but all that's available with manual trans is the SR and it is not at the local dealership. How come everyone buys automatics now?? I have been driving a shift-it-yourself car for 28 years and don't plan to stop. Save The Manuals :cool:

Sounds like you need to go to Alberta -- another member was just saying the local dealers only had base S Micras in stock.

Must be for all the out of work Albertans now that the work has slowed down out there. Hard to find any base cars of any kind around here and my town isn't full of high paying jobs either.

I went by on the train to Halifax a month ago.
I spent a couple of months on the south shore - did not see many Micras. There was one in Mahone Bay.
