Cruising down the 401 today and I come across a Caspian SR with a quite peculiar shape over the roof. I didn't want to believe it at first, but son of a... He's got a sun roof. So so jealous. Pulled up along side and did the roadrunner beep. Took him a second to realize what was happening. His wife gave me a thumbs up.

Jealous now, but won't be jealous when all the seals go and he has a sea of electrical issues.

I love sunroofs. And the Micra has so much headroom, there's tons of room for even the OEM kind that slides inside the roof.
Sunroofs used to be better though, back in the days when cars' A-pillars weren't as steeply raked as they are today, and the open sky was actually visible in your forward vision. Now a lot of them practically start behind the driver's head.
Added to the Micra modifications list even though we don't know the details. Maybe it'll inspire someone to dig further for their own car.
Webasto makes aftermarket sun roofs. My work is a distributor. I'll ask what the cost is on a basic unit.
