New toy arrived (Can you guess what it is?)

I got a new toy in the mail today, for such a little part it sure does change the way the car looks to me. Not even sure if I like it yet.

Yes the antenna. Still a little fussy about it. The color is a good match but it's not of as good of quality as I would have liked. The bottom was not perfectly flat so when up close you can see a small gap between it and the car. As well I'm starting to fear that when parked next to other Micras mine will look too different.Attachment 2379

I think it looks good as your micra is 'dressed' up and ready to go out on the town, so it has to look more spiffy and the antenna suits it!

See how you feel about it in a few days, or at least until our 24th meet so I can see it!

I think the shark fin looks much better then the stock one. i've been considering one for awhile.

I bought one for my red Micra but you're right. The colour is a decent match but there's enough of a difference for me to notice so I've decided to wait until it gets warmer so I can paint it the correct color. How do you find the radio reception? Not that it really matters to me since I always listen to what is on my usb stick.

Radio reception seems to be about the same. But like you I have the USB loaded up with 16gb of of music. I really need a 128gb stick. Then I can just drag and drop the whole damn internet on it. Good luck on the paint. From what I can tell Dupli-color only has the paint pen version in our color. (A20 Red Alert) Can anyone else confirm or deny this?

There are several auto paint supply places that will mix up paint for you when you give them your paint code. They will also put into a spray can if you want. This is what i used to do for my Toyota Echo. You can even ask them to not add clear coat to the paint so you can do a proper base coat/clear coat paint job.

It's a little more expensive than the rattle can stuff from your local Canadian Tire but I think you can get better results this way.

Looks good, it's smaller than mine that I had purchased back in October (photo in my garage) but the place I got it from is super awesome to deal with and they are Canadian, located in Richmond, BC (Visual Garage) For $85 cad shipped they will colour match it for you as well. Radio reception improved on every car I've installed on as well (3 ☺)
